Il nostro corso MCA-approved Master 200 GT prepara al CoC per due titoli professionali:
- Master su code vessels inferiori a 200 GT, entro un massimo di 150 miglia nautiche da un porto sicuro
- Officer of the Watch (OOW) su yacht inferiori a 500 GT
UN TITOLO RICONOSCIUTO A LIVELLO INTERNAZIONALE
Un Certificate of Competency della MCA è un titolo riconosciuto a livello globale che può sostenere la tua carriera in diversi settori marittimi e mercati internazionali.
Il titolo può essere rilevante per i marittimi che operano in settori come yachting, supporto offshore ed eolico offshore.
Il ruolo specifico e l’unità sulla quale il CoC può essere utilizzato dipendono dalla stazza GT e dalla certificazione dell’unità, dal codice applicabile, dall’area operativa e dai requisiti dell’amministrazione di bandiera competente.
OPPORTUNITÀ DI CARRIERA
Un titolo MCA Master 200 GT / OOW può supportare la progressione professionale in diversi settori marittimi.
In base all’esperienza e al percorso professionale, le opportunità possono includere ruoli di comando e da ufficiale nello yachting commerciale, sui workboat e sulle crew transfer vessels (CTV), comprese le unità di supporto ai parchi eolici offshore.
REQUISITI
- Avere almeno 18 anni
- RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate, insieme al certificato di completamento con esito positivo di un corso Yachtmaster Offshore shore-based; oppure IYT Master of Yachts Limited Certificate
- 6 mesi di servizio di navigazione qualificante mentre si è in possesso di un certificato RYA Yachtmaster Offshore o IYT Master of Yachts Limited
- STCW Basic Training
- GMDSS GOC (General Operator’s Certificate)
- HELM Operational (Human Element, Leadership and Management) – può essere completato dopo l’esame
- ENG1 o certificato medico di idoneità equivalente accettabile

IL CORSO
Durata: 5 giorni
Modalità: online (in presenza disponibile su richiesta)
Sessioni online: lunedì–venerdì, 09:00–12:00 e 13:30–16:30
Il corso copre le principali materie teoriche e operative richieste per l’esame MCA, tra cui navigazione, carte nautiche, meteorologia, sicurezza, regolamenti per prevenire gli abbordi, stabilità della nave, pianificazione della navigazione e gestione delle emergenze.
Ulteriori sessioni di preparazione, esercitazioni pratiche e simulazioni d’esame sono disponibili su richiesta e vengono addebitate separatamente.
L’ESAME
L’esame MCA è composto da due parti:
- Part A – esame online computer-based con supervisione
- Part B – esame orale online
La Part A deve essere superata prima di poter accedere alla Part B. Il nostro corso prepara a entrambe le parti dell’esame.
COSTO DEL CORSO
€ 1.600 + IVA
La quota comprende il corso MCA-approved Master 200 GT, inclusa la preparazione sia per gli elementi Master sia OOW.
Le sessioni in presenza, le ulteriori sessioni di preparazione e le simulazioni d’esame sono addebitate separatamente.

Our MCA-approved Master 200 GT course prepares you for a CoC covering two professional titles:
- Master (code vessels less than 200 GT), limited to no more than 150 nautical miles from a safe haven

AN INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNISED QUALIFICATION
An MCA Certificate of Competency is a globally recognised title that can support your career across different maritime sectors and international markets.

The specific role and vessel for which the CoC can be used depend on the vessel’s GT and certification, applicable code, operating area and the requirements of the relevant flag administration.

Depending on your experience and career path, opportunities may include command and officer roles in commercial yachting, workboats and crew transfer vessels (CTVs), including vessels supporting offshore wind farms.
REQUIREMENTS
- Be at least 18 years of age
- RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate, together with a certificate of successful completion of a shore-based Yachtmaster Offshore course; or IYT Master of Yachts Limited Certificate
- 6 months’ qualifying seagoing service while holding an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore or IYT Master of Yachts Limited certificate
- STCW Basic Training
- GMDSS GOC (General Operator’s Certificate)
- HELM Operational (Human Element, Leadership and Management) – this can be completed after the examination
- ENG1 or an acceptable equivalent medical fitness certificate

THE COURSE
Duration: 5 days
Course format: Online (face-to-face available upon request)
Online sessions: Monday to Friday, 09:00–12:00 and 13:30–16:30
The course covers the main theoretical and operational subjects required for the MCA examination, including navigation, nautical charts, meteorology, safety, collision regulations, ship stability, passage planning and emergency management.
Further preparation sessions, practical exercises and mock examinations are available upon request and are charged separately.
THE EXAM
The MCA examination consists of two parts:
- Part A – online computer-based proctored examination
- Part B – online oral examination
Part A must be successfully completed before you can proceed to Part B. Our course prepares you for both parts of the examination.
COURSE FEE
€1,600 (excluding VAT)
The fee covers the MCA-approved Master 200 GT course, including preparation for both the Master and OOW elements.
Face-to-face sessions, further preparation sessions and mock examinations are charged separately.
